AGORA 2.0 project is in the homestretch!

This year Belarusian Association “Country Escape” is finalizing AGORA 2.0 project “Heritage tourism for increased BSR identity”, supported by the Baltic Sea Region Program 2007-2013. The project lasted two years, a lot has been done. more info

Solidarity Cycling Tour in Belarus

During the Belarus Solidarity Cycling Expedition in 2008 we will be cycling through beautiful eco-corridors from the 1st of August to the 1st of September. You will be able to join at either one of the three designated entry points. Each part of the expedition will culminate in a Village Festival celebrating local pagan, cullinary and craft traditions.

The journey will put you in contact with beautiful and preserved landscapes, open and charming Belarusians. You will get to know a country far from convential tourist routes and occidental way of life.

In addition to penetrating a little know country by taking part in the expedition you will be encouraging private initiatives based on sustainable development and nature protection. Allong the way we will seek to create an inventory of the Belarusian countryside (natural and cultural resources) and will discuss with the locals to communicate the importance of safeguarding pristine nature.
