The highest point of Belarus land was considered to be Dzerjinskaya Mountain, 345 meters high. Well, it can’t be compared with such mountains as, for example, the Karpati or the Caucasus but still there can be found about 25-30 representatives of mountain flora, and almost all of them are rare species, included in the Red book of the Republic of Belarus. more info

AGORA 2.0 project is in the homestretch!

This year Belarusian Association “Country Escape” is finalizing AGORA 2.0 project “Heritage tourism for increased BSR identity”, supported by the Baltic Sea Region Program 2007-2013. The project lasted two years, a lot has been done. more info

Meeting in Vilnius
In October, 10 in Vilnius there was a meeting of the participants of the international project Agora aimed at sustainable tourism development in the region of the Baltic Sea. The partner of the project from the Belarusian side is Belarusian Association "Country Escape". At the seminar principles of rural tourism and new aims fro Agenda XXI in the sphere of rural tourism were discussed. A special interest was paid to the information about developing in Europe Destinet portal, where the best samples of sustainable tourism will be represented.
