AGORA 2.0 project is in the homestretch!

This year Belarusian Association “Country Escape” is finalizing AGORA 2.0 project “Heritage tourism for increased BSR identity”, supported by the Baltic Sea Region Program 2007-2013. The project lasted two years, a lot has been done. more info

Round-table discussion
On the 6th of September the newspaper "Sovetskaya Belarus" held a round-table discussion on the problems of agro- and ecotourism, in which participated the vice-minister of sport and tourism Cheslav Shulga, Valeria Klitsounova, chairwoman of the board of the Belarusian Association "Country Escape" and "Agro- and ecotourism", and representatives of the National Bank, Ministry of agriculture, regional authorities and farmstead owners. Among the questions discussed were the problems of crediting, departmental approach to rural tourism, organizational support from the direction of local authorities. This meeting is evidence of heightened attention to this kind of tourism from the government.
