Dear friends, colleagues and partners!
We wish you a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! This year was important for us. It was the year of our 10th anniversary. We summed up the results and started planning the future. A lot has been done, but it’s still much to be done. We wish all ‘pioneers’ of rural tourism and all the rest who support our movement lots of joy, health and good luck in the coming year!

AGORA 2.0 project is in the homestretch!
This year Belarusian Association “Country Escape” is finalizing AGORA 2.0 project “Heritage tourism for increased BSR identity”, supported by the Baltic Sea Region Program 2007-2013. The project lasted two years, a lot has been done. more info
Meeting on rural tourism in the Belarusian State University
On the 29th of April in the framework of the Belarus Support Program of Germany there was held a seminar on the problems of management in the sphere of rural tourism. The seminar was held at the International Tourism Department of the Belarusian State University, where for the first time in this year a new study-course on agro- and ecotourism was introduced. Different experts in this sphere, farmstead owners and students had a talk at the seminar. After the seminar there was held a meeting of the authors of the future book “Rural tourism and sustainable development”, which will appear in September 2006.
