The highest point of Belarus land was considered to be Dzerjinskaya Mountain, 345 meters high. Well, it can’t be compared with such mountains as, for example, the Karpati or the Caucasus but still there can be found about 25-30 representatives of mountain flora, and almost all of them are rare species, included in the Red book of the Republic of Belarus. more info

AGORA 2.0 project is in the homestretch!

This year Belarusian Association “Country Escape” is finalizing AGORA 2.0 project “Heritage tourism for increased BSR identity”, supported by the Baltic Sea Region Program 2007-2013. The project lasted two years, a lot has been done. more info

Training on rural tourism in Germany
From the 12th till the 17th of March a group of farmstead owners had a training in Germany in the framework of the project “Assistance in developing of sustainable rural tourism in Belarus” of the Program Support by Germany. The trip has turned to be incredibly interesting – farmsteads of different specialization, ecological agriculture, former collective farms of GDR turned into rural tourism objects, informational and booking centers and many other interesting things. The main peculiarity of all this is ecological direction, which signed by the prefix “bio”. But the participants of the group consider our rural tourism to be “more bio”.
