We wish you a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! This year was important for us. It was the year of our 10th anniversary. We summed up the results and started planning the future. A lot has been done, but it’s still much to be done. We wish all ‘pioneers’ of rural tourism and all the rest who support our movement lots of joy, health and good luck in the coming year!

AGORA 2.0 project is in the homestretch!
This year Belarusian Association “Country Escape” is finalizing AGORA 2.0 project “Heritage tourism for increased BSR identity”, supported by the Baltic Sea Region Program 2007-2013. The project lasted two years, a lot has been done. more info
Rafting on Belarusian rivers
It is an unusual leisure for the adventurous and curious people! The floating means include two rafts with a plank-made deck. During the tiur you will be traveling down the rivers Berezina and Neman, making stops in interesting places, walking in the Nalibokskaya Pushcha and junier grove, swimming, fishing, picking up mushrooms and berries, a field bath-houe. Also you will visit a local museum in Nikolayevo village and the glass factory “Neman”. . Travels start upon formation of groups.None weather can delay the travel!
The 1st day - arrival to Minsk. Departure from Minsk by a minibus, arrival in the village of Bakshty; assembling rafts, putting on tents, loading outfit and foodstuffs; departure; overnight stop. The 2nd day - traveling down the Berezina River, making stops in interesting places, walking in the Nalibokskaya Puscha, swimming, picking up mushrooms and berries, fishing, making a fish-soup on campfire. The 3rd day - arriving in the river mouth of the Berezina; overnight on the site where the Berezina falls into the Neman. The 4th day - continuing by the Neman, visiting a local lore museum in the Nikolayevo village; making a stop in a juniper grove; overnight near a pine forest. The 5th day- one-day stay on shore. Preparing a field bathhouse for the evening (sauna and brooms available). The 6th day - crossing the river mouth of the Gaviya; overnight near the river mouse. The 7th day - reaching a small city of Berezovka; packing up luggage, disassembling rafts; -tour to the glass factory ‘Neman’; departure for Minsk.
The program includes: -transportation to the site and back; -meals (porridge, canned foods, vegetables, sandwiches, ready-made soups, tea, coffee, pastries, sweets); -provision of the required outfit; -tour to a glass factory.
Please bring warm clothes and waterproof boots. Travels start upon formation of groups. None weather can delay the travel!
