Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Dear friends, colleagues and partners! We wish you a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! This year was important for us. It was the year of our 10th anniversary. We summed up the results and started planning the future. A lot has been done, but it’s still much to be done. We wish all ‘pioneers’ of rural tourism and all the rest who support our movement lots of joy, health and good luck in the coming year! Team of the Belarusian Association “Country Escape”   more info

«Open Doors’ Day» on Belarusian Farmsteads was a great success!

On the 20th of May 2012 national action «Open Doors’ Day» on Belarusian Farmsteads took place all over Belarus. The action was

initiated by the Belarusian Agro- and Ecotourism Association “Country Escape” and was supported by the Ministry of sports and tourism of Belarus. More than 300 farmsteads open their doors for guests, and each owner prepared some particular surprise. For example Kopyl region offered visitors a weaving contest “A Milky Way from Grandma’s hands”. The farmstead “Shabli” organized an eco-cleaning initiative in the neighborhoods. The hostess of “Damelka” farmstead proposed tourists to participate in florist design workshop. The action attracted the attention of both media and tourists and promoted Belarusian rural tourism in general. Every visitor couldn’t stay indifferent towards Belarusian hospitality! We are sure that ‘Open Doors’ Day’ would become a good tradition and would be held annually.
