Dear friends, colleagues and partners!
We wish you a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! This year was important for us. It was the year of our 10th anniversary. We summed up the results and started planning the future. A lot has been done, but it’s still much to be done. We wish all ‘pioneers’ of rural tourism and all the rest who support our movement lots of joy, health and good luck in the coming year!

Major international tourism project AGORA 2.0 has been registered in Belarus
On the 24-25th of March in Tallinn there was organized partners’ meeting of major international tourism project AGORA 2.0 “Heritage tourism for increased Baltic Sea Region identity”. The project is aimed at formation of a joint tourism image of the Baltic Sea Region on the basis of natural and cultural heritage. The word “agora” (from Greek) means “meeting or market place”. The project runs from 2009, and starting from the 1st of March 2011 Belarus has fully joined the project. Belarusian Association “Country Escape” has become a full project member. Our country is among the participants not occasionally. Although we are not exactly one of the Baltic states the quality of water in the Baltic Sea highly depends on the water in our rivers. Moreover we have common historic routes. In frame of the project by the end of 2012 our Association plans to hold several seminars, Green Tourism Forum, publish creative publications, develop and promote tourism products on the basis of natural heritage.
