Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Dear friends, colleagues and partners! We wish you a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! This year was important for us. It was the year of our 10th anniversary. We summed up the results and started planning the future. A lot has been done, but it’s still much to be done. AGORA 2.0 project is in the homestretch!

This year Belarusian Association “Country Escape” is finalizing AGORA 2.0 project “Heritage tourism for increased BSR identity”, supported by the Baltic Sea Region Program 2007-2013. The project lasted two years, a lot has been done. more info

For the first time the exhibition in Israel was a success for Belarus

On the 8 – 9^th of February the International Mediterranean Tourism Market took place in Tel-Aviv. There were representatives from 33 different countries including Belarus, Russia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Uzbekistan and Georgia.

Belarusian stand was very popular among visitors. Israeli Minister of Tourism Stas Mesezhnikov visited our stand and shared his hope for future activization of cooperation between our countries in the sphere of tourism.

In frames of the exhibition there was held a presentation of Belarus’ tourism opportunities under the motto “Hospitality Beyond Boarders”. Presentation of agro- and ecotourism product “Green holidays in Belarus” attracted particular interest. It was held by Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Association of Rural and Ecotourism “Country Escape”.

Also in frames of the event traditional Belarusian meals and drinks were served. Samagon (home-made vodka) was announced like “the most original and invincible weapon” of our country.
