On the 8th of November 2010 in New-Market (Great Britain) that is the capital of horse race there took place the General Assembly of the European Federation of rural tourism (Eurogites) where Belarusian Association “Country Escape” is among members. This federation is the biggest in Europe – it unites more than 30 countries dealing with rural tourism therefore it is an honor to be a member. This meeting was interesting and instructive: we exchanged experience with our colleagues, learned about new tendencies in agrotourism, new forms of promotion of tourism products. Among the agreements one should mention the agreement on cross-sales that will become international.
And on the 9th of November in London there took place an ECEAT meeting (European Centre of eco- and agrotourism) where participants discussed the problems of conferring ECEAT ecolabels in Eastern Europe. Also participants agreed to hold the next meeting in Belarus.
